Distance Coach:  USATF Level 1 Certified

     Priscilla was born in Prescott, Arizona and graduated from Bradshaw Mountain High School.  She was a 3-A State Champion in the 800m in high school and a 2 x All-American in Cross Country while attending Yavapai Community College.  She competed for Arizona State University in Cross Country and Track and Field.  She is an All-American in Cross Country and a National Qualifier in the mile and 1500.  She graduated from ASU with a B.S. in Exercise Science.  She competed in the 2000 Olympic Trials in the 1500m and the 800m, and is the individual 2001 USATF Club XC National Champion.  Priscilla competed in the 2001 and 2002 USATF Outdoor Nationals in the 1500m finals.

     Priscilla is a USATF Level 1 Certified running coach and has worked with beginning and intermediate adult runners for the past two years. Her knowledge and expertise is the middle distance and distance events. With 21 years of running experience, Priscilla believes running is not only a sport, but a gateway into becoming a successful person off the track as well.  She firmly believes participation in Track and Field and Cross Country allows the athlete to learn skills that will help them to be focused, disciplined, and dedicated in other endeavors.  She believes running is a healthy lifestyle which is invaluable for a person's wellness as a whole.  She is a full-time mother of twin 6 year old first graders, and a 5 year old daughter!  Her goal in life is to be a positive influence and good role-model for those trying to achieve being healthy and happy. She looks forward to working with the athletes of the Elite Striders Track Club and providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
